Request Amazon Seller Feedback Removal With Policy Evidence

Classify order feedback, compare it with Amazon removal criteria, submit one Feedback Manager request, and fix the operating issue when removal is not appropriate.

When should you request removal of Amazon seller feedback?

Request a review only after matching the complete feedback comment and order record to Amazon's current removal policy. If the feedback is permitted, do not turn Feedback Manager into a repeated appeal; address the customer experience and the operating cause.

Amazon states that compliant buyer feedback generally remains and directs removal requests through Feedback Manager. The policy identifies limited removable cases, so dissatisfaction alone, an unfair tone, or a seller's disagreement is not sufficient.

Classify the feedback before submitting

  • Record order ID, marketplace, rating, exact comment, feedback date, fulfillment method, product, delivery, message, return, refund, and claim history.
  • Separate seller-service feedback from a product review, delivery or fulfillment event, prohibited personal information, obscene content, and a mixed comment.
  • Read the entire comment; a product statement mixed with seller-service feedback may be treated differently from a comment that is wholly about the product.
  • Preserve the original feedback and relevant order evidence before contacting support or making account changes.
  • Check whether Amazon has already applied a strike-through or other fulfillment-specific treatment in the live interface.

Submit one evidence-led request

Use Feedback Manager, choose the closest policy reason offered, and explain the match briefly. Quote only the minimum words needed to identify the policy issue, reference the order, and avoid adding unrelated allegations or personal data.

Save the request time, reason, confirmation, decision, and reviewer explanation. Do not open duplicate support cases to obtain a different answer when the feedback does not meet the removal criteria.

Handle feedback that should remain

  • Resolve the order problem through the correct refund, return, replacement, delivery, or support process.
  • Do not offer compensation, discounts, gifts, or pressure in exchange for removing or changing feedback.
  • Use only Amazon-permitted communication and do not direct the buyer to an external channel.
  • Classify the root cause by product, warehouse, carrier, promise, packaging, message, or policy decision.
  • Track repeated themes and assign a corrective action even when the rating cannot be removed.

Scope and exceptions

Seller feedback describes the order experience and is different from a product review, Customer Reviews contact, A-to-z claim, chargeback, or policy-violation report. Each has a separate response path.

Criteria, interface options, and deadlines can change.
