Create a Weekly Routine for Amazon Stranded Inventory

Identify sellable units without an active offer, assign the correct owner, and resolve the cause before storage time accumulates.

Stranded units need a separate queue

Inventory can remain physically present while the related offer is unavailable for purchase. Because units still consume time and capital, they should not disappear inside a general inventory total.

Sort by the action required

  • Listing or offer issue that can be corrected with catalog information.
  • Pricing, condition, or account setting that prevents activation.
  • Product or compliance issue that needs evidence or review.
  • Discontinued or invalid inventory that requires an exit decision.

Prioritize value at risk

Rank cases using unit count, landed cost, storage age, expected contribution, and resolution difficulty. A small number of high-value units may deserve attention before a large quantity of low-cost inventory.

Close the loop every week

Assign an owner and review date, then confirm whether the offer became active and the units are sellable. If not, choose the next evidence request or an exit path instead of carrying the same unresolved line indefinitely.
